The social services department is here to ensure the needs of our veterans are met each and every day.
The role of the social worker begins upon admission. The social worker develops that bond with the veteran and families in order to assess that all needs are met and person-centered care is being administered. The social worker is a liaison between staff, veterans and families on matters concerning veteran needs, progress and medical condition.
The Director of Social Services ensures that the facility is in compliance with all State and Federal regulations and laws governing the facility and the methods of service delivery.
